SERMA Technologies has inaugurated its new platform dedicated to abuse testing, in the presence of nearly 200 guests!

This opening marks another major milestone for SERMA, which is successfully launching its third testing centre dedicated to e-mobility in 2025, bringing the total number of testing centres within the group to seven.

A development that once again confirms SERMA’s position as a leading player in e-mobility.

Located in Neuville-aux-Bois, near Paris, this 5,000 m² facility is entirely dedicated to abuse testing and battery safety.

Thanks to the diversity and intensity of the tests performed, it ranks among the Europe’s most advanced sites.

The highlights of the inauguration included speeches from:

  • SERMA leadership: Pierre-Olivier BESOMBES (CEO – SERMA Group), Marie Bridoux (COO – SERMA Technologies), Pascal GOUEREC (Director of the “Energy & Renewables” Department – SERMA Technologies), and Alexandre BAUDU (Manager of the Neuville-aux-Bois site and Head of Abuse Testing – SERMA Technologies)
  • Official representatives: François BONNEAU (President of the Centre-Val de Loire Region), Patrick HARDOUIN (Mayor of Neuville-aux-Bois), Jean-François DESCHAMPS (President of the Forêt Community of Communes), Marc GAUDET (President of the Loiret Departmental Council), Sophie BROCAS (Prefect of the Centre-Val de Loire Region and of Loiret)
  • Philippe PELLETIER (MAP and Testing Director – Ampère)

Following the speeches, a guided tour allowed guests to explore the center in detail, including its specific features, the different types of tests conducted, and the six testing zones that make it up.

A huge thank you to all the teams and partners who contributed to the success of this ambitious project!

Thank you to the France Nation Verte and France 2030 initiatives for their financial support in the creation of this platform.

And many thanks as well to the event sponsors: John Cockerill, RS France, Equipement Scientifique, Tunzini, Perrier, Ineo, Arcamzo.
