The site’s main activity focuses on construction and failure analysis as well as electrical testing of batteries of all types (Li-ion, Ni-based, Pb-acid, LiSOCl2, etc.). Studies are conducted to understand the degradation mechanisms of cells and modules composing batteries, identify the causes of failures, and test battery performance under very specific conditions.

- Comparative analyses (benchmark) and consulting: determine the most suitable battery technology or reference for a given application.
- R&D: analyze and characterize developing cells.
- Quality control: verify compliance, performance, and the absence of defects in cells and associated electronic boards.
- Design review and Bill of Materials (BOM): cell and module construction analysis.
